Prior to entering law school in 1990, I enjoyed a career as a registered nurse specializing in trauma and critical care patients.  I worked in a busy emergency room and surgical intensive care unit.  I can handle crisis, with compassion. 

As a mother, I know that our children depend on us to protect them, especially in stressful situations like divorce or modification lawsuits.  My family law practice is just that - family focused. 

As a runner (I've run twelve marathons so far), I know that discipline, endurance and preparation are essential to reaching the finish line.  I bring these qualities to my legal representation.

As an artist, I enjoy painting portraits in oils in my spare time.  Painting is about creative problem solving. Is the mouth crooked?  Is the nose too wide?  I use those creative problem solving skills every day in my law practice.

I believe that the best lawyers combine courtesy and professionalism with strong advocacy skills.  I am dedicated to being the best for my clients.
